About Us
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated
Was founded January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University. During a time when our country was undergoing many hardships, our trailblazing founders sought to enhance the lives of those who were underserved around them. For over 100 years, we have upheld our Founders’ vision, setting ourselves apart as an organization built on the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood.
Omicron Xi Zeta Chapter
Was originally chartered on December 12, 1992 by five opulent graduate women who desired to serve Williamsburg and its surrounding Communities. It is with this spirit that the Omicron Xi Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated strives to serve. Since reactivating on October 19, 2019 our chapter has coordinated and volunteered in many service events. To learn more about what we do in the community please check out the other tabs.
Scholarship
Scholarship is the First Principle of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Our Triumphant Founders believed in the importance of knowledge and education. To this end, Zeta has always believed in supporting those in a learning environment, from Elementary on up to the Collegiate levels. As a chapter, we have an Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony to provide high school seniors with funding towards their collegiate education.
